What inspired you to become a fitness professional?
Being in and around athletics for most of my life, I saw fitness and strength/conditioning as a way to stay involved with athletics and engage my competitive side while making a positive difference in peoples lives.
What is your fitness routine?
I am mainly interested in powerlifting and Olympic lifting, although I incorporate bodybuilding and athletic methods into my training to create a well-rounded regimen.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Developing relationships with my clients, and seeing the physical and mental benefits that they get from following a fitness routine.
What is the one exercise no client of yours can avoid?
Some variation of squatting.
What activities do you like to do outside of the gym?
Traveling, hiking, playing basketball, photography, reading, music, and watching sports.
What’s a fun or interesting fact about you that most people don’t know about you?
When originally entering college, I had wanted to be a journalist or a photographer.
